What we do
Youth dramaticz was set up to facilitate intensive drama and music theatre based workshops for young people (aged 8-11 & 12- 16 ) with an interest in performing arts.
Our programmes are fun, stimulating and challenging at the same time. We encourage and promote self expression, and the celebration of our unique individuality through performance. We aim to boost confidence, provoke thought; whilst providing a platform for emerging talent in our end of course showcases, which will feature staged productions and screenings.

Gig Theatre Making Course
The Youth Dramaticz 3 week intensive course will see young participants create an original piece of gig theatre inspired by their own experiences and ideas on a common theme. The course gives participants the opportunity to explore and express themselves freely, whilst building confidence and developing transferable skills including: communication, collaborative working and devising.
The course also covers:
- Improvisation
- Writing a monologue
- Monologue performance
- Voice
- Singing
- Spoken word
- Poetry
- Rap
- Movement
- Live music
Attendees will have an opportunity to perform their work to an audience
at the end of course.
